Potter County Sign Hacked To Pieces

State Police say an unknown vandal used a chainsaw to hack up a sign welcoming visitors to Potter County Monday morning. The wooden sign, belonging to the Potter County Visitors Association, was then thrown over an embankment. The incident occurred on Phoenix Run Road near the Potter/Tioga county line. Police are continuing to investigate, and encourage anyon with information to contact them.

My guess is a disgruntled Potter County resident wanted "flatlanders" to feel unwelcome!
