The McKean-Potter Red Cross and Meals on Wheels program were presented a grant yesterday.
State Representative Martin Causer and Joe Scarnati were on hand to present an 18 thousand dollar grant to renovate and improve the meals on wheels facility. New windows, siding, and insulation in the building should result in a 27 percent savings on utility costs. Over the course of ten years, the savings is worth 98 hundred dollars.
The money comes from the State Department of Economic and Community Development.
