A Kane man pleaded guilty in Elk County Court Monday. 25-year-old Scott Grunthaner admitted to 36 charges of rape, 36 charges of sexual assault, 72 counts of involuntary deviate intercourse, 36 counts of aggravated indecent assault, and 72 counts of indecent assault agaisnt a young boy.
He is currently free on $10,000 bail. Sentencing for Grunthaner is not until August 1st.

Editors Note:

I'm so sick of reporting this kind of news. What really disturbs me, is that this man pleaded guilty, and posted the 10K bail before this.

Why isn't he in jail yet? Why can sentencing not be instant? What happens if he does it again?

I'm sorry, but this is a part of the legal system that should be protested.

If someone ever did this to one of my kids, I would be the one you would be reading about, if they ever found the body.

I agree with you...anyone that can do this kind of act on a innocent child deserves to be shot once they prove he did it.. Our legal system protects the purpetrator not the victim. Just like the guy here in port that shook his baby so bad that it will never see or hear or be able to learn.. they want to change his plea or something.. he did it. he is guilty and he should be punished to the full extent of the law.. Kudos to you for saying what we all feel
