McKean County Landfill Sale Pushed Back

Well the landfill sale has been pushed back, again. The Solid Waste
Authority had hoped to be able to rid itself of the landfill and disband
effective June 22, and now it will be another 45 days. The holdup? Paperwork
delays. Board members say someone dropped the ball in the paperwork
process. So far, it does not appear that Rustick LLC will pull out of the
deal, theyve already made significant investments into improvements at the
property. The paperwork hang up happened at the financial firm of Merril
Lynch.
