The Roulette News Blog has learned the name of the man that jumped over a
fence at the McKean County Prison and injured himself.
Sources say the man was 25-year-old David Paul Davis of Fayetteville North
Carolina.
State Police confirmed in a press statement that the escapee was from
Fayetteville North Carolina, and that after climbing a 20-foot fence, he
fell and broke his leg, his back, his ribs, and collapsed a lung.
Bradford City Police Chief Roger Sager says city Police arrested Davis on
June 28 on a fugitive from justice warrant out of Cumberland County North
Carolina.
Davis was then taken to McKean County Jail, where he waived extradition on
July 1.
Sources say Davis was the man who attempted to escape. State Police have not
released the man's name. Hamot Medical Center in Erie Confirmed that there
was a David Paul Davis admitted, but would not release any further
information.
