Two Pennsylvania men died Thursday while serving in Iraq.
44-year-old Lt. Col Michael McLaughlin, a native of Tionesta, was a member
of the Pennsylvania National Guard.
He died on Thursday when a suicide bomb hit a session he had been conducting
to recruit Iraqi police officers.
27-year-old Marine Cpl. Albert P. Gettings of New Castle died as a result of
small-arms fire while conducting combat operations in Fallujah.
