"In 30 years of driving in winter up here, this is the first accident I've ever had because of the weather," says Yogi Hatcher. Hatcher lost control on Fishing Creek Road, sending h is 98 Chevy Venture into a spin. The van left the roadway, and struck a tree at the upper part of a lot belonging to Reverend H.D. Youngblood. The tree spun his vehicle the other way, where it backed down to the edge of a bank overlooking Fishing Creek, stopping against a tree. "It was a twelve foot drop behind me, with only a foot left to go. I kept praying, 'God don't let me go over the edge,'" says Hatcher. He didn't. His van sustained major damage, and had to be towed from the scene.

**** Editor's Note: Sorry Dad. I've already had several requests asking for info on the Fishing Creek Wreck!

Tell your Dad not to crash in such a conspicuous place next time, if he doesn't want to be noticed. :) Glad he is okay, tho.
