Major Accident in Pike Township

A Ulysses man was life-flighted to Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre after a traffic accident in Pike Township.

21 year old Travis Lee Vanocker was a passenger in a Chevy Cavalier driven by Randall Pierce of Troupsburg New York when the vehicle struck a ditch and flippwes onto its roof. Pierce was ejected from the vehicle, but was not injured. Vanocker was ejected from the vehicle as well, and received major injuries. Police say 18-year-old passenger Teal Adrianna Vanocker was not injured in the crash.
Galeton Fire Department and Ambulance assisted at the scene.
