In McKean County court Thursday, Joshua Hanson, who escaped from Cameron County Sheriffs just outside Mount Jewett as they were transporting him last July, pleaded guilty and will be sentenced June 23rd. Hanson fled from police as they were stopped at the Hazel Hurst rest stop, stole a vehicle and was apprehended in another state. He was a no show earlier this month, when McKean County Sherrif’s Department did not pick him up from the Tioga County Prison where he is incarcerated for a spree of car thefts in Cameron County.
