Still waiting on the official totals from the County Board of Elections. Most county polling stations checked in with WESB and COOL 100 NEWS, though, and we can bring you those totals. Election officials could not be reached to confirm that all the votes are in and have been compiled. As soon as the official scores are in, we’ll let you know.

Unofficially, it looks as though more than a few upsets came in last night.
In the race for district Judge, Dom Cercone beat out Chris Hauser for the seat.
Cercone, a member of the Bradford City Police force plans to retire to serve out his term as judge. Cercone says Hauser called him overnight to congratulate him, and offered any help he could to ease the transition.

Cercone says he will begin training a new juvenile officer at the station.

Five will appear on the republican ballots for school board in the fall. According to unofficial tallies, Reverend Arthur Cox, Rita Dincher, Joe Troutman, Pat Vigliotta and August Freda were the top vote getters in the race. Cox, Dincher and Vigliotta, who ran on both tickets show the best chance of landing a seat on the school board, along with Troutman.

Troutman and Freda, both appearing on the republican ticket only will be the race to watch in the fall elections.

Preliminary figures show Tom Riel out-seating Incumbent Kathy Graff for a spot in the November elections. The unofficial tallies show Tom Shay as the top vote getter. Ross Neidich comes in at third for his spot on the Republican Ballot. The Republicna trio will take on Bob O’nuffer as the sole democrat in the November elections.

Bradford Township Police Officer Rich Luther looks like he will fill the District Judge Seat that will soon be vacated by Barbara Boser. Unofficial figures show Luther well ahead of Attorney Dan Hartle.

The district covered by the seat includes Bradford, Corydon, Foster and Otto Townships and the Lewis Run borough.

In the race for Foster Township Tax Collector, preliminart figures show Bill Graham on top. The businessmen took the overwhelming majority of the Foster Township votes.

No attorneys were chosen for the District Judge position. Incumbent Smethport District Judge James Miller will have to step down, according to preliminary figures. The only man running for judge in his district that was not an attorney, Bill Todd, secured the vote.

The district includes Annin, Ceres, Eldred, Liberty, Keating, Norwich, and Sergeant Townships, and Eldred, Port Allegany, and Smethport Boroughs.
