Shippen TWP Crash

A 1 vehicle crash in Shippen Township Friday afternoon left the driver with minor injuries. 61 year-old Catherine Lyon of Emporium was driving her 89 Oldsmobile along Moore Hill Road, where she fell asleep behind the wheel. Her vehicle crossed the roadway and struck an embankment, which caused her vehicle to roll onto its side, trapping Lyon inside. Emporium Fire and Ambulance responded to the scene and removed Lyon from the vehicle.
