Four candidates in Port Allegany will be assured a seat on Borough Council William Burleson JR, Judith Taylor, and David Fair are running as republicans, and Roland Simons runs as the sole democrat. The four candidates are looking to fill four vacancies.Recent Controversy over zoning and Burleson’s attempt to build a Dollar General store in Port Allegany’s historic district could make for an interesting term of activity in the borough.
