Pennsylvania State Police are issuing a warning to not open any e-mails requesting personal information. Some bogus entities are claiming to be such businesses as PayPal and Ebay among others. The e-mail generally request the recipient to respond and verify personal or account information. The public is reminded to be cautious when making decisions to use unfamiliar businesses. State Police also urge the public to never provide personal or financial information to anyone over the telephone, e-mail, or in person unless they are absolutely certain they are dealing with a reputable business.
