Charges Filed in Wetmore Incident

State Police in Kane are reporting that they had responded to a suspicious
vehicle at the Anderson Saw Mill in Wetmore Township last night. Police
found three persons in the vehicle. One of the passengers was charged with
underage drinking and the Driver was arrested as well. The driver, Jared
Smith, was determined to be intoxicated. Smith was transported to Kane
Hospital and charged with three charges including a DUI. Upon releasing
Smith to an Adult he began acting in a chaotic manor inside the hospital and
would end up with a separate charge of Disorderly Conduct.
