Grant For Potter County Education Council

Rep. Martin Causer presented the Potter County Education Council (PCEC) with
a $5,000 grant to enhance its Jail to Jobs Program Wednesday. The Jail to
Jobs Program provides individuals on probation or incarcerated the
opportunity to receive training in the information technology field. The
program was started last year with nine individuals involved and seven of
those currently hold jobs in the telecommunication industry, according to
PCEC Executive Director Helene Nawrocki.
