Sheriff Elect Serves as Deputy

Sheriff Elect Brad Mason has been hired as a part time deputy. The Bradford
Township Police officer that recently ran unopposed in the primaries for the
post is working to transport prisoners on court days in Smethport.

Sheriff Donald Morey says they needed someone part time, ad since Mason is
soon to take the reigns as sheriff, the decision to hire him just made
sense.

His part time duties only require a few hours one day a week.
