Man Attempts to Escape Prison: Recieves Serious Injuries

A Man was injured while trying to escape from the McKean County Prison Sunday. State Police say the Fayetteville, North Carolina man climbed the wall of the secured yard and fell to the ground, sustaining serious injuries. The escapee’s identity has not yet been released. He sustained a broken leg, a collapsed lung, and a minor spinal fracture. Police say he was flown by medical helicopter to Erie for treatment.
