"Fat Albert" Busted

A Fruit stand in Potter County is in trouble after an undercover sting operation Thursday afternoon. State Police say an undercover state trooper approached Fat Albert’s fruit stand along Route 6 and purchased illegal fireworks. Mortar rounds and quarter sticks were included in the illegal display. Police say Albert Lingeris of Galeton was arrested, and over 8 thousand dollars in currency and about 100 thousand dollars in fireworks was seized. Lingeris was released on his own recognizance.
