The York Daily Record featured an article this week about a suspected
mountain lion attack in Coudersport. The article does not give the name of a
Coudersport resident who found his dog mangled with bite marks, and
surrounded by what appeared to be mountain lion tracks.
The dog owner told the reporter that he saw a big cat, about 5 feet long
within a few weeks.
The Pennsylvania game commission denies that there are any mountain lions in
Pennsylvania.
The dog owner says the game commission laughed off his suspicion that a
mountain lion killed his dog.
