Kane Magnetics Sold

More news on Kane Magnetics International. Just a few weeks after announcing
a large number of layoffs locally, the company has announced a merger with
Energy Conversion Systems, which is based in Dunn, North Carolina. The new
name for Kane Magnetics will be Energy Conversion Systems, LLC. The company
plans to cut 97 of their 139 jobs in Kane in September and October.
