Emporium Woman In Accident

A three-vehicle accident in Jay Township Wednesday morning involving a
tractor-trailer sent one man to the hospital. State police say a Nissan
pathfinder driven by Matthew Rightnour of Clearfield was stopped on Route
255 waiting for a vehicle ahead of him to make a turn from Route 255.
Emporium resident Mary Laughlin struck the rear of the pathfinder while
attempting to stop behind him. A freightliner driven by David Harris of West
Decatur, Pa then went off the road while attempting to avoid the two
vehicles and ended up striking the back of Laughlin's vehicle. A passenger
in Laughlin's vehicle reported minor injuries.
