A local gas station temporarily shut down its pumps due to the increase in gas prices. Seals Service Station in Eldred, which uses older gasoline pumps, had to close as gas prices topped $3. The pumps have reopened, with Gene Seal, the stations owner, charging for the half gallon in order to allow his pumps to handle the price. Seal could face the task of replacing the pumps soon if prices dont drop below the $3 mark in the near future.
