Smethport Hit and Run

State Police in Kane are investigating an incident of hit and run this
morning on State Route 46 one mile north of Smethport. An unknown vehicle
was traveling north on State Route 46 when it lost control while rounding a
left hand curve. The Vehicle struck a Utility pole, breaking it off at
ground level but not knocking it over. The Vehicle then left the scene in
an unknown direction. Anyone with information is asked to contact the State
Police barracks in Kane.
