Kane Loses Meters

No more parking meters in Kane. A Kane Chamber of Commerce survey showed
only 5 percent of the borough wanted the meters to remain. Kane Borough
Council President Howard Kane announced all of the parking meters would be
removed.

Instead, the borough opted for a two-hour parking ordinance which is not yet
in effect.
