LIHEAP Funds Available Next Month

State Representatives Kathy Rapp has issued a reminder to residents in her
district that though home heating costs are soaring this year, some families
may qualify for Pennsylvania's Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program, or
LIHEAP.

The State welfare run program will open November 7.

The program is available to families with income of up to 135 percent of the
poverty level, and the recipients do not need to be on welfare to receive
funding.
