Trees in McKean County are about to be under attack.
Two insect species are spreading west, they're already as close as Elk
County.
The non-native invasive species threatens local forests, and street trees,
according to Dr. Donald A. Eggen
Eggen addressed the public at a Roach- Bauer forum in Kane.
The Hemlock Woolly Adelgid and the Emerald Ash Borer top the list of insects
that Eggen warns could drastically affect the trees in McKean County.
