Bradford Township and the City of Bradford have decided to drop their
lawsuits against the Solid Waste Authority.
The SWA and the municipalities met with President Judge John Cleland as a
mediator all day Tuesday, trying to work out the legal issues over money
paid by the city and township to the landfill.
The SWA agreed to pay back some of the money.
A Partial refund of nearly 190 thousand will be paid to the city, and more
than 77 thousand to the township as part of the 86 dollar a ton-tipping fee.
