Toxicology results for Coudersport Native Patrick Ryan are still at the lab.
The Erie County Pathology lab is still examining the results.
Ryan's remains were sent to Erie after a physical autopsy by Forest County
Coroner Norman Wimer proved to be inconclusive.
Erie County Pathologist Eric Vey says it's not unusual for results to take
this long in instances where the body has undergone decomposition.
He says tests can usually be done on blood samples of the deceased. In
Ryan's case, liver bile is being looked out for traces of any toxins that
could have led to the Pitt Bradford Graduate's death.
The Ryan family has set up a 10 thousand dollar reward fund to be given to
anyone who provides information that leads to the successful prosecution of
their sons killers.
State Police say foul play is suspected in the September death.
