A Smethport family is asking for assistance in their effort to pay for
Leukemia treatment of their three-year-old daughter. Nathan and Jayme
Williams of Smethport have been taking their child to Pittsburgh for
treatment of their Daughter, Salena, which will place a large financial
burden on the family. Her Treatment involves traveling to the Children's
Hospital of Pittsburgh once a week for four to six weeks along with her
ongoing treatment that will continue for the next two years. Salena had
also been diagnosed with an arachnoid cyst on her brain earlier this year.
That condition is also being watched and has been since the earlier part of
this year. Donations can be made to the family from any branch of the
Hamlin Bank to an account that has been set up for Salena Williams.
