Fishing Creek Fire

A Fire Thursday in Roulette damaged a home on Fishing Creek Road. The blaze
at Rayburn Weimer's home went from the chimney to the wall. Firefighters
from Roulette, Port Allegany and Coudersport responded to the scene.
Some structural damage was reported, but the Weimer's were able to get out
safely.
WFRM in Coudersport reports that the house used to serve as a post office
the community of Durward during the logging boom.
