UPB Students Go To Sea

Three students from the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford will be among
the 680 students who will travel around the world starting in January when
they take part in the spring 2006 voyage of Semester at Sea.

The three students are Emily Gausman from Ridgway; Kelsey Kocjancic from
Leeper; and Brandon Nelson from Warren.

They will begin their trip on Jan. 19 when their ship departs from Nassau,
Bahamas. Their journey will first take them south, where they will visit
Puerto Rico and Brazil before crossing the Atlantic Ocean for Cape Town,
South Africa. After visiting Africa, they will travel to Mauritius in the
Indian Ocean, and then they will go to Chennai, India. The ship will then
make final stops in Asia, including Vietnam, Hong Kong, China and Japan. The
voyage will end on April 28 when the ship docks in San Diego Calif.
