Body Confirmed as Missing Woman

Police have confirmed that the body found near the Allegheny River, just off
South Nine Mile Road Wednesday afternoon is Barbara Fowler.
Fowler had been missing since December 1st.
State police trooper Steven Coppola discovered the body in an area that had
been covered by river water during the initial search.
An autopsy will be performed at Erie County Medical Center to determine the
cause of the 59-year-old's death.
