The University of Pittsburgh and Bradford will have a downtown presence
again, this time, a prominent building was given as a gift.
Dr. Robert and Mary B. Weiss of Warren gave the 6-story Seneca Building to
the university in memory of Dr. Paul. Keverline who worked with Weiss in
the building before he died in a plane crash in t 2002.
The building is valued at $1.2 million.
The gift is the largest real estate gift the university has ever received,
and it's one of the five largest outright donations they've ever received in
it's 42 year history.
