Sex Offender Doesn't Register

An Allegany NY man pleaded guilty this week to charges that he did not register the location of his new Potter County job and residence as a sex offender. 53-year-old Douglas Chapin is registered under Megan’s Law for a Florida conviction. Chapin failed to let authorities know he was a sex offender when he began working and living in the Shinglehouse Area.
