VNA Budget Threatened

Governor Ed Rendell’s budget threatens the McKean County Visiting Nurses Association. Rendell’s budget calls for a three-dollar co-pay for Medicaid patients. The VNA offers a variety of services to homebound patients, and numerous visits could yield co-payments totaling 30 dollars or more.
State Representative Martin Causer has been invited to meet with the VNA to learn about the association, and discuss the budget cut.
