Charges Against Escapee Filed

State Police have filed charges against the North Carolina man who was
injured while attempting to escape from the McKean County Prison. 25-year
old David Paul Davis of Fayetteville, North Carolina has been charged with
felony escape, criminal solicitation and criminal conspiracy for his attempt
to flee on Sunday afternoon. Charges of criminal conspiracy are also pending
against two other inmates at the prison. Davis is still at Hamot Medical
Center in Erie, recovering from injuries that include several broken bones.
