Port Boro Scrmbles To Settle Clean Water Violation

Port Allegany officials have been slapped with a fine for clean water law
violations. Overflows at the borough's sewage treatment plant ran untreated
water into the Allegheny River, sparking a citation from the state. Boro
Officials are looking at a 50 thousand dollar storm water system investment
as a part of a settlement that would help the boro avoid a fine.
