A new major at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford will help students
learn what it takes to own and operate their own business. The
entrepreneurship major is the first of the kind in our region and one of
only 104 in the United States. The program will kick off this month with the
start of the fall semester. According to Betsy Matz, chairwoman of
Pitt-Bradford's Management and Education division, the new major will center
on e-commerce and also cover the area of running your own business more
thoroughly than the business management major does, particularly the issues
faced by start-up businesses.
