Rbies Trouble in Cattaraugus County

Rabies is an increasing problem in Cattaraugus County. The Health Department
is reminding pet owners to keep vaccinations up to date.

Any bats that bite someone should be carefully captured and brought into the
health department.

37 individuals in the county have been treated with post exposure rabies
treatments so far this summer.
