Man Goes to Jail For Shooting Wife's Lover

A Weedville man that shot his wife’s new girlfriend will spend 5-10 years in prison for attempted murder. Francis Pumphrey shot Tazona Lynn Shockley twice with a .22 caliber revolver when his wife said she would be moving in with her in November of 2004. The seventy-year-old man was given a lesser sentence because of his age and health, and lack of criminal history.
