Smethport Accident

State Police in Kane are reporting a two vehicle accident at the
intersection of State route 6 and State route 46 near Smethport on Saturday
morning. Lisa Bliss was attempting to cross state rout 6 and enter Water
Street when her vehicle was struck by a vehicle driven by Gloria Calhoun.
Both vehicles would have to be towed from the scene. Miss Bliss and her
passenger Corry Blouvet were transported to Bradford Regional Medical Center
for moderate injuries prior to state police arrival. Calhoun was also
transported to BRMC for minor injuries. The investigation into the incident
is continuing and charges are pending.
