Mount Jewett will join area communities for a board of appeals dealing with the Uniform Construction code. Following a second reading of the ordinance at Monday night’s meeting, the boro council approved the law, which will allow several townships and the borough of Kane to work together on a board that will field appeals from homeowners who have been hit through the new uniform construction code.
