Rail Monies Released

Governor Ed Rendell has announced $13 million for rail freight improvement projects, with a large chunk going to Buffalo & Pittsburgh Railroad, Inc. The rail company will receive $1 million for replacement of rail, ties, switches and signals in McKean, Elk, Clearfield and Jefferson counties. The project is expected to create up to 50 new jobs.
