Emporium Teen in Crash

State Police are investigating a hit and run crash in Keating Township and a
one-vehicle crash in Norwich Township, both of which occurred early
Thursday.
In the first incident, an unidentified vehicle exited Irons Hollow Road at
2:30 a.m. and struck two mailboxes in the yard of Randy Vangor. The damage
was not reported.
State Police are also investigating an accident on State Route 46 at 7:30
a.m., when 19-year old Caleb Salter of Emporium went off the road while
traveling north, came back onto the road and went off the other side,
hitting the guardrails. Salter's 2003 Honda Pilot was disabled in the
accident and had to be towed from the scene.
