Kane Discusses Comprehensive Plan

Kane area residents are being encouraged to attended a meeting Wednesday
scheduled by the county planning commission to provide input for the county
comprehensive plan.

The meeting will include brainstorming sessions to develop ideas to improve
Kane and surrounding communities.

A similar meeting was held last month in Mount Jewett.

Suggestions made at the community meetings will be given to a consultant who
will prepare the comprehensive plan.

The county is seeking a 55 thousand dollar state grant to pay for half the
cost of the project.
