Monday Morning Accident

No one was hurt in an accident at the Bradford Township/Lewis Run line on
South Avenue Monday morning.

Bradford Township Police Chief Dave Doyle reports that a vehicle driven by
64-year-old Germaine Marie Duncan of Kane was traveling north when it
stopped for a vehicle in the same lane that wasn't moving.

A pickup truck driven by 34-year-old Dennis Frase of Mount Jewett couldn't
stop on the icy road, and hit the back of the Duncan vehicle.

Doyle says the pickup was moderately damaged. The car was severely damaged,
and both had to be towed from the scene.

Township police were assisted by state police.
