Timothy Williams, the convicted murderer of Officer Steve Jerman in 1999,
was denied a new trial. Clarion County Judge Charles Alexander denied the
appeal for a new trial despite one of the witnesses claiming to have shot
the Kane Officer instead of Williams. The Alleged admissions of Becky
Lucrezi, one of the two occupants of Williams' vehicle's back seat, have
been currently denied by Judge Alexander. Lucrezi was granted immunity at
the original trial for her testimony against Williams. The Post conviction
review of the case has been allowed to continue despite the new trial
denial.
