Gas and Oil Drilling Surges

Record numbers of oil and gas drilling permits have been pushed through,
according to the DEP.
McKean County tops off the state with an increase of 235 wells since last
year.

Natural gas and oil wells across the state have increased by more than 1500
this past year.

High Crude oil prices and a greater need for energy prompted the surge.
