Kane Gets New School Board Member

The Kane area School Board had a new member sworn in on Thursday. Harry
Steele, a 43-year-old resident of Kane for the past 11 years, was approved
at the Thursday meeting after Mike Holtz, who was elected to the position in
November, resigned due to employment obligations. Also voted on in the Kane
School board meeting was next year's school calendar and many other
appointments to fill vacancies.
