
The Eldred World War II museum will remember the 60th Anniversary of the landing at Okinawa by inviting a World War II veteran and author to speak. Donald Dencker, who wrote “Love Company – Infantry Combat Against the Japanese, World War II”, an account of his military experiences with the 96th infantry division, will speak, Friday, April 1st at the Museum at 6 p.m. A program on the history Channel April 1st will also feature an interview with Dencker.
